ADT © VoIP Upgrade

ADT © are the largest alarm monitoring company in the world, but unfortunately they do not support all VoIP services for their alarm monitoring service. We get many inquiries each month asking if our Linksys solution works with the ADT © monitoring service. Well, it is definately possible to reliably transmit alarm signals to their facility over the Internet when you have VoIP phone service.

Using regular "off the shelf" Linksys VoIP adapters and our "IP to POTS" network, you can safely transmit alarm signals over your broadband Internet connection into the ADT Alarm Monitoring Center. We have partnered with a number of VoIP providers who are able to take a call from your alarm panel over IP and switch it onto the PSTN landline network without any of the issues associated with normal VoIP service.

Step One - Purchase your own Linksys VoIP enabled equipment from the local or online supplier of your choice.

Step Two - Pay the one-off $15 Account Setup Fee to voip-alarm.com

Step Three - Download custom alarm monitoring settings from the our server into your Linksys equipment.

Step Four - Carry out a number of tests to confirm correct operation of your system.

Step Five - If you are happy with the solution, create a non-binding $4.95 per month subscription with PayPal to continue with our "IP to POTS" contract-free service.

You do not need to make any changes in your alarm panel or in your account with ADT
