VoIP Compatible Monitoring with CPI Security

CPI Security monitor security alarm systems over landlines. We get regular inquiries asking if our Linksys solution works with their monitoring service. It is possible to reliably transmit alarm signals to their facility over the Internet when you have VoIP phone service with any DSL or Cable company.

Using "off the shelf" Linksys VoIP equipment and our universal "IP to POTS" network, you can transmit alarm signals over your broadband Internet into the CPI Security facility. voip-alarm.com have partnered with a number of telecoms providers who are able to take a call from your burglar alarm panel over the Internet and switch it onto the landline system without any of the issues associated with normal VoIP service.

One) Source your own Linksys VoIP adapter (any model) or VoIP Router from any local or online supplier.

Two) Pay the initial $29 Linksys Setup / Provisioning Fee to voip-alarm.com

Three) Download the voip-alarm.com custom alarm monitoring settings from the Provisioning Server into your Linksys equipment.

Four) Perform a number of tests to confirm reliable operation of your alarm service.

Five) If everything works OK with our solution, you can create a non-binding $5.95 per month subscription with PayPal to get going with the "IP to POTS" service.

There is no requirement for programming your alarm panel and you don't need to change your account at CPI Security in any way. They won't even know you've upgraded.
